Levi’s vacation plans are literally “up in the air” as he visits two tiny treehouses in the mountainous region of North Georgia. The Nature’s Nook treehouse in Dahlonega, built around a live oak tree and overlooking the fern forest, features a charred Shou Sugi Ban cypress wood exterior that adds to its globally-inspired modern design. Atop a bluff on Lookout Mountain, the luxury Sassafras Treehouse boasts a black board and batten exterior, a long staircase leading to the wraparound deck, and 360-degree panoramic views from its unique crow’s nest bedroom.
