Levi heads to the shores of Lake Superior in northern Minnesota for an off-grid adventure at Patagonia Cabins. Built for travelers seeking a rustic refuge, the primitive Patagonia and Gaucho A-frame cabins are nestled in a blanket of trees, surrounded by meandering creeks, and overlook the world’s largest freshwater lake. These small sustainable stays were inspired by the owners’ travel to Argentina and offer only the bare necessities: solar power for lighting, a propane fireplace and stove, an A-frame outhouse, rain barrels for wash water and an outdoor bucket shower.
